ROBERT F. WILSON, FOUNDER & CEO
Mr. Wilson has worked for more than thirty-five years in the financial services sector, acquiring global capital markets and investment banking experience in North America, East Asia and Western Europe with investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup (Salomon Brothers) and RBC Capital Markets (Dominion Securities). In January 2000, he founded his own advisory company, providing a wide range of professional services to both private and public company clients, as well as family offices, foundations, banks and trusts. His advisory services range from mergers and acquisitions to corporate restructuring, recapitalization and divestiture mandates. He brings to each client engagement both experience and skills including business analysis and valuation, competitive analysis, business development and corporate strategy, and public and private capital introductions. In addition to his operating experience with several technology-centric businesses, he has extensive operating and leadership experience across the financial services sector.
Mr. Wilson has also served as a director and strategic advisor for numerous public and private companies located in North America, the Caribbean Basin and Central America, Western Europe, and East Asia. He has served as a long-time member of the Board of Governors of Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto, ON), an advisor to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Toronto, ON), and most recently as a director of The Keewaydin Foundation (Salisbury, VT).
Mr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario) and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA).
